New packet -- regional Austin, TX

    Hello.

Are you expanding the directory to include regional RSS feeds?

I have 20 feeds in thematic content areas that I update daily by aggregating over 50 local news feed sources for Austin, TX.  I re-publish posts that describe entertainment events for Austin.

A sample one is here: http://feeds.feedburner.com/todayseventsMobile

I also have Film, Free Film, Planning Ahead, Kid & Teen Events, Community Events, University of Texas Film/Music/Theater/Dance, and a lot more...

I will wait for your response before I send them to you.

    Thanks for your consideration!

    Hello,

We will increase the number of RSS that you may add using your account. Please note that you can add any RSS feeds that you like, whether regional, national, or private, as long as you use a valid URL for the feed. You do not have to send the links to us - just add them to your Favorites list on our site.

    Best regards,

Re: New packet -- regional Austin, TX

    Hello again,

Can you please provide me with your username that you use to log in to mDigger.com? It is either your email address or your telephone number. I need this information to enable additional RSS feeds for your account.

I also wanted to let you know that we are continuously adding various information sources to our Catalog. As you may have noticed, we are not just limited to RSS feeds and can add regular websites to the Catalog. If you would like to see full-length articles (non-RSS) from your favorite websites on your mobile device, you may submit the links to those websites to us for review to be included to our Catalog for use by anyone.

Once we add your websites to our Catalog, you may invite your friends or colleagues to sign up for mDigger and they too can see these websites on their mobile phones. To invite a friend, just log in to our site and use the "Invite" option on the left.

    Best regards,
    mDigger Team

Re: New packet -- regional Austin, TX

Thanks for your help so far.  I just had the sign-in problem again, but I quit Firefox and restarted and then it worked smoothly.  Just FYI.

May I ask again -- I have 20 feeds for Austin TX daily event news.  Would they be suitable for your catalog of content?  If so, what is the preferred method for submission to you?  Is it by sending them in this forum?

My web site is www.TodayinAustin.com.  Is it suitable for the catalog?

Re: New packet -- regional Austin, TX

    Dear Diana,

You may add these feeds by using the RSS link that is provided on the site. Just go to www.TodayinAustin.com and scroll down. Under the list of articles click the RSS button. A new page will open with the following URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/todayinaustin.

Now log in to www.mdigger.com, go to RSS feeds and add this URL. Then refresh mDigger on your phone. You will see the "Today's Events, Austin" channel on your phone.

Please note that some of the articles in this RSS feed lead to external (non-mobile) websites and will not display on your phone.

We hope you enjoy the service.

    Sincerely,
    Anatoly

Re: New packet -- regional Austin, TX

    Dear Diana,

One more tip on using this RSS feed:

    1. Log in to our site www.mdigger.com and click on RSS feeds.

    2. Click on "Today's Events, Austin" link.

    3. Change the RSS View option from "Headline View" to "One page view". Save.

    4. Refresh mDigger on your device.

Now your feed shows all articles on one page. You will now notice that you may now click on links for all articles. If an article is downloaded on your device, you may read it right there. If the article is located on some other site, you may click on the link and go to that site.

    Best regards,
    Anatoly
