Feature Request: D-pad navigation & touch screen & scrolling

    Hi
First off thanks for what I believe to be in my experience the best free mobile RSS agregator/clip reader available.

This is my first post here, so please let me know if any more clarrification is required

    In the quest for a truely "stylusless" experience;

    D-pad Previous/Next
Verticle scrolling is currently provided with D-pad and scroll wheel
How about using Left & Right for Previous & Next article (triggering the Back action whenever the first or last article is navigated beyond)
Alternatively; Previous & Next could be added as options to the Menu button.
This would save a lot of back, scroll and select between pages.

    Touch-screen & scrolling
I have been finding that centring pictures is quite fiddly - this can't be done by using the D-pad or scroll wheel, since that seems to scroll to the next URL or next page, so I have to resort to the custom fingernail technique.

    • More and more people are developing touch screen interfaces to compare with the iPhone.
      • I think this makes navigation very intuitive and precise (if you don't mind wiping fingerprints your screen that much more often ;) even if it is only to scroll up & down.
    • Could picture holders be added to the objects scrolled to?
    • Or could scrolling be done line-by-line, keeping the "scroll-line" cental on the screen unless it reaches the top/bottom of an article (à la Blackberry).
      • URL's could be highlighted whenever the "scroll-line" reaches that line.
      • Whilst scrolling would be slower as a result, scrolling would be more fluid (I'm not convinced, but felt it was worth raising the suggestion)
either of this would make centring pictures easier.

Well I hope that's inspired some creativity

Good luck and keep up the good work
    Thanks,
    Rem
