Hello everyone.
We just wanted to inform you that soon we will be updating the some of the terms we use on mDigger. Thus you will see that changes on the website, in this forum, and in the developer documentation thereafter as well. The change in terms does not reflect any substantial change in our service, but rather the desire to more accurately reflect what it is that our service actually does.
New channel requests will now be called "or "new packet requests".
A channel application will now be called a "template".
Completed templates included in our catalog will now be called "packets".
Our catalog will now be called "library".
The packets included in a user's Favorites list will be referred to as the user's "package".
Thus for clarification purposes, templates are used to make "packets". Packets enable users to obtain information from Web sources in a format appropriate for their device(s).
Thank you for your understanding about these changes, and if you have any questions, please let us know.
