Please be advised that soon we are updating the some of the terms we use on mDigger and thus the name of this forum will be changed from "channel development" to "template development." The change in terms does not reflect any substantial change in our service, but rather the desire to more accurately reflect what it is that our service actually does. The developer documentation will be updated accordingly soon as well.
In summary,
New channel requests will now be called "new information source requests" or "new packet template requests."
A channel application will now be called a "template".
Completed templates included in our catalog will now be called "Packets".
Our catalog will now be called "library".
All of the packets within a user's Favorites will be referred to collectively as that user's
"package".
Templates are used to make "packets". Packets enable users to obtain information from Web sources in a format appropriate for their device(s).
Thank you for your understanding about these changes, and if you have any questions, please let us know.
